You know that feeling when you wake up and you’re already behind? When your eyes open and your brain immediately starts scrolling through your inbox, tallying up everything you haven’t done yet?

A Gentle Start is designed to intercept that cycle. It’s a wildly gentle, 45-minute slow flow and affirmation session for the women who are tired of starting their day in survival mode.

Whether you join us live to feel the community vibe or use the recording when your schedule actually allows, this is your permission to start gently...

There are no complex poses to master and no pressure to perform athleticism before you’ve even had a coffee. This is a re-energising ritual rooted in traditional Hatha yoga, designed to make your body feel nourished and strong and your mind feel steady.

What We’ll Do Together

  • Slow Flow: We’ll move through a sequence of beginner-friendly poses connected to the breath. It’s smooth, rhythmic, and easy to follow, allowing you to find a moving meditation that wakes up your joints and muscles without taxing your nervous system.

  • Functional Movement: No pretzel poses here. We focus on movement that actually helps, stretching out the morning stiffness and nourishing your body with what it needs to face the day.

  • Realistic Affirmations: We close with words that will feel true when you speak them out loud to yourself. No toxic positivity, just gentle reminders that you are worthy of existing exactly as you are, without needing to be productive to earn your place.

Session Recording Included

I know life is unpredictable. Between kiddos, work, or just needing an extra 20 minutes of sleep, the live time doesn't always work. That’s why a full recording of the session is included and sent straight to your inbox.

You get the high reward of the practice with zero pressure to show up at a specific second. If you can’t make 7:30 am (although lots of my students like the fresh and springy feeling of starting the day bright and early like this), the recording is yours to use whenever your morning actually starts. We'll all be bleary-eyed, though, so no stress!

The Important Parts

  • Time: 7:30 am, every other Thursday except holidays.

  • The Vibe: Low effort, high reward. Come as you are, pyjamas, messy hair, and morning breath are all welcome.

  • Camera: Entirely your choice. Keep it off, stay in your bubble, and just watch and listen if that’s what feels good. There’s no requirement to talk or look a certain way.

  • Bring: Just a soft spot on the ground (a rug or mat is fine) and clothes you can move freely in. No fancy gear required.

  • Accessibility: Completely beginner-friendly. If you’ve never done yoga before, this is the perfect place to start. It’s gentle, slow, and easy to follow.

  • Price: £5 (includes the live session and the permanent session recording).
